Industry Case Study: Peoria Sports Complex
Challenge
Situation: During the renovation of this sports complex 388 lineal feet of water line located in 3 different areas of the complex were being abandoned, and the city of Peoria required the abandoned line to be filled with grout.
Challenges: To provide a pumpable grout that would flow the distance of the pipe and assure that there were no air voids left in the abandoned pipe.
Solution
Solution: Arizona Ram Jack was able to mix on-site a low-density cellular grout engineered mix design that met the requirements of the project. By providing an air bleed-off hole at the end of the pipe we were able to monitor the flow of the grout and assure that there were no voids.
Conclusion: Both the General contractor and the Special Inspector were impressed with our team and our proprietary mix design that they had not seen used before. the project was completed in one day.
